Our referral form works from other US states too and other countries. Getting your doctor's order is the important part to get the ball rolling. For patients who have delayed or avoided annual screening due to pain or anxiety, it changes everything. Widely adopted outside the United States, there are many medical travel options around the world with access to Vera Scan. We're just kind of partial to San Diego beaches!

Get a referral before you book any travel
The Vera Scan is a prescription imaging study. Ask your doctor at home to complete our referral form and send it to us before you book your trip. We'll confirm receipt and send you a link to schedule your appointment online. For international travelers, please satisfy all necessary United States entry Visa and legal arrangements before you schedule a scan.
Schedule your itinerary around your scan
After you have scheduled your screening, we recommend arranging travel the day before and the day after the screening date. And why not stay a little longer? San Diego is a wonderful place to visit!
Results follow you home
Your radiologist's report will be sent to your referring provider within 1-2 business days, so your care team at home has everything they need.
Note, we can't guarantee your scan will happen when scheduled. Staff can call in sick. Power outages can happen. If we are not able to honor your scheduled time for any reason, we will refund your scan cost, but your travel expenses are your responsibility.
